How to reach the ground
Witney Mills Cricket Ground, Newland, Witney. Approaching Witney from Oxford, take the 'Witney East' turn off the A40 and the ground is just over one mile on the right, on the B4002. From Witney town
centre, head north along Bridge Street on the A4095, go right at the double mini-roundabouts on to the B4022, and the ground is 100 yards on the left.
In 2004, the 2nd XI finished seventh in division seven. Four games were won, and performances got better as the season progressed.
One win the first eight games saw the 1st XI flirting with the relegation positions in the tightly-contested division two, but five wins in the last ten gave a final league position of fifth.
