Bicester & North Oxford 2nd beat Wallingford in the showdown to decide the Division 5 title.

Bicester never looked back after racing to 139-0, Krishan Talsania going on to hit 107 in the home side's 249-5.

Ian Bryan took 5-40 and Richard Simpson 4-19 as Wallingford were all out for 188.

Wallingford's woes worsened as Chearsley beat Bledlow Ridge 2nd to deny them the second promotion place.

Chearsley looked down and out after falling for 135, but Ben Lazaruk (6-31) bowled Ridge out for 118 with time running out in the 56th over.

Abingdon Vale 2nd are down having failed to win a single match.

Chris Butcher (45) led the way in their 221 against Leighton Buzzard 2nd, who settled for a draw on 202-5.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd escaped the drop by beating Banbury 3rd in style.

George Frankland (5-22) and Andy Haynes (4-28) bowled out Banbury for only 143, Mark Taylor (60) and Haynes (36no) seeing Nondies to 148-4.
