ROWING: Abingdon women turn on style at Bewdley
The ladies of Abingdon Rowing Club had an excellent weekend with two victories at the Bewdley Regatta in Worcestershire.
In torrential rain, Abingdon’s coxed eight beat Stourport and Loughborough to win their final.
Two of that successful crew, Sharon Webber and Anita Green, were also victorious in the women’s novice masters pairs in a straight final against Warwick over the shorter course.
