WITNEY Ladies were in devastating form as they won 6-1 away to Oxford Hawks 2nd in Division 3A of the South Clubs League.

Hayley Dobson scored twice for the visitors, whose other goals came from Sunny Ricketts, Helen Backhouse, Ellie Kearney and Ellie Norton.

April Bedford scored for Hawks, who trailed 3-1 at the break.

Oxford Hawks failed to capitalise on a bright start as they went down 2-1 away to Swansea in the Investec Conference West.

The visitors piled on the pressure without scoring and soon found themselves 2-0 down at the break In the second half, Hawks pulled a goal back with Gemma Darrington scoring from a well-worked corner They pushed for the equaliser but Jo Tolson’s effort went just wide.

Oxford lost 4-0 at home to London Wayfarers in Division 2.

The hosts kept battling and won a number of late corners which Vicky Small and Emily Malden came close to converting.
