Oxford United's npower League Two clash against Rotherham on Saturday has been postponed.

A statement from the U's read: "With the weather conditions deteriorating throughout Friday the home game against Rotherham United at the Kassam Stadium has now been postponed on safety grounds.

"The original plan was for a 10am pitch inspection on Saturday morning, but the approach roads, stands and surrounding areas have become treacherous in the last few hours.

It's funny how these football clubs keep coming up with different excuses to have a rest. We all used to get to games years ago and it was proper snow not this 1 inch OMG stop the county crap. Maybe the players should have a few cans of man up juice, after all it is ment to be a MANS game.

How much snow is around the Kassam , had 4 inches around Verwood , now the roads are good and clear . swindons ground staff and supporters and manager, worked late evening to get their game on . Sorry to have a moan at oxford , but just think we have been in great form of late and have missed an chance to play a inconsistant rotherham.
