MAX Crocombe was an unused substitute for New Zealand's 1-0 friendly defeat to the Korea Republic in Seoul today.
It was the first time the Oxford United goalkeeper has been called up to the senior squad, but fellow debutant Stefan Marinovic was handed the start.
The goalkeeper, who plays at German third tier side SpVgg Unterhaching, saved a penalty but conceded the only goal of the game four minutes from time.
Crocombe, 21, will now resume his loan at Vanarama Conference strugglers Nuneaton Town, where he is yet to concede a goal in five appearances.
