U's set to break 4,000 barrier

OXFORD United’s season-ticket sales look like breaking through the 4,000-barrier mark.

United’s communications officer Chris Williams said the numbers were significantly higher than they had been for several years.

“They are already up around the 3,800-3,900 mark – and that’s even before the season has begun.”

Meanwhile, tickets are selling well for the League Two opener away to Burton Albion on August 7.

They on sale to season ticket holders only (one per season ticket) until 6pm today and go on sale to members tomorrow when the ticket office will be open from 12 to 3 ahead of the Youth Development Benefit game.

Any remaining tickets will then go on open sale from Monday.

After reaching the depths of dispair when the Cllub were relegated from the League- like many U's fans i'm on cloud nine in anticipation of the Mighty U's return to their rightful place in the Football League!
And, it's going to be a busy start with three matches in a week including the Bristol Rovers CC1 match mid-week. Good luck Yellows!! And welcome back.
