CraigClark - can't you read? No History (just 50 years since we first joined the League) - didn't you hear about (A) our being the only club ever to win what are now called the Championship and League One in consec seasons? (go on start checking!!) (B) our winning the league Cup 3-0 (C) our 4 wins over Moanchester United (D) our failing to concede 100 goals (ho, ho) in any of our THREE seasons in the top flight? . Did you not hear that we spent 21 (of 31) seasons in the top two divisions? Have you heard of former Liverpool players Ray Houghton, John Aldridge, Mark Wright and Dean Saunders . Our modern ground s is the much better ground than your dump - isn't it? It is plenty big enough. Yep more money is going into your playing staff - lucky you. But w ain't poor by div 4 standards. Your pal talks about the 'class acts' named Macari and Hoddle - you know what fans of other clubs they managed thought of them. Of course you did much better than us last season and have done so since long before 2001. Time for that to change, Mr Lenagan
Is it Darlington that have a brand new spanking all singing ground - - and look where they are in football .. Hmm perhaps its better to have a decent team first then brag about a decent / better ground in my opinion.

Think we win hands down on that - as for history - pure bunkum - look forward... not back !!!

I'd be embarrassed about a 3 sided ground too, but if finances and crowds determine that is all required what's the point other than stopping the ridicule.

The CG is dated but serves it purpose - plans are in the pipeline but will depend on our progress."
