LEE Cox has signed on loan for Oxford United from rivals Swindon Town for the first half of the season.
The 22-year-old midfielder, can also play at right back, will make his debut for the U’s in a pre-season friendly at Didcot Town this evening.
Cox joined Swindon from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in January, but was unable to claim a regular place in the side, starting just twice.
The former Leicester City trainee has joined the U’s until January.

Connell has gone to Bradford and I fancy him to do very well there with Parkinson the manager who turned them away from almost certain relegation last season. We are now looking forward to League ONE football this season, mean while I hate to think how badly your pitch will be cut up by the RFU guys.

There are NO sheep in League One, plenty for you to follow in League Two, like you tried but failed to follow us into League One but failed

Oh yes I remember you Mandate, having a lot to say about us ON THE ADVER site - are you familiar with the word hypocrite?? Look it up monkey-boy.
You kept confidently spouting that our promotion bid was going to fail, ohhhh you had a lot to say for yourself didn't you eh! We wondered where you were, and if you were ok, we were worried about our little pet chimp. As long as you are well, that's the important thing.
Cox was anonymous when he played for us, he just ran around trying to get involved, so no Town fans can realistically say what he can/cannot offer you. It's just fun looking down on you (as always), & giving you the people who we've left behind.
It's nice to help out the small local clubs.

That 'small local club' beat you home and away. The arrogance of swindon fans is unreal.
Maybe if you halfwits can grow a bit & try to understand that there is a bigger picture, you might actually develop some ambition that goes beyond beating Swindon Town!!
"OOO WE BEAT SWINDON!! MY WORLD IS PERFECT NOW!!"
Joke.

Still hurts huh?
Meanwhile back at the Kassam, you will not only be in League Two, but playing hoof ball in an attempt to fly the ball over all the divots and valleys in the pitch created by your Chairman's favourites, the RFU boys, they may get promoted, while we fancy you lot for yet another mid table at best finish.
Pain ? Heck NO, we are jubilant at our fortune, meanwhile you can go and stew in your own myrrh, as you sink deeper into it.
