This is your chance to walk into Middlesex University with a few questions and walk out again with a new career.

On Saturday, Times Group Newspapers will be one of more than a dozen employers supporting the career and training fair being held at the university's Hendon campus in Church Road.

Whether you want to explore foreign shores with the likes of Thomas Cook or the Royal Navy, or you prefer the world shrunk to the size of a computer screen by Finchley's own Demon Internet, there is a host of opportunities on show.

Staff from the Hendon Times will be on hand between 11am and 4pm to offer practical advice on how to pursue a career in journalism or advertising.

Former Capital Radio DJ Dave Cash will be making a special guest appearance alongside sponsors European Klassik Rock 87.7FM and Barnet Council. Other exhibitors include Adecco, Alfred Marks, McDonalds, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Harvester, Walsingham Community Homes, Pinnacle Insurance plc and Courtney's.

"We gained some good temporary workers and permanent. We were also approached by two new clients who want to start using Blue Arrow," said one satisfied exhibitor after last year's fair.

Come along and see if any of them can set you on the road to a new career.
