SOMETHING and nothing is what Bob Lyon wants from his Selby Town side this weekend.
The Robins manager naturally wants his top of the table outfit to find the net when they travel to fourth-placed Thackley in the Northern Counties East League premier division tomorrow.
But he is also looking for his back line to tighten up and keep a clean sheet.
"I've not been happy with the defence in some of the games recently," Lyon told the Evening Press.
"I would rather our results were something to nil.
"I really want to see us keeping clean sheets, that has to be where we go from here.
"We have not had any trouble knocking them in in the last few weeks, but I would prefer us to tighten it up at the back."
Lyon, himself a former defender, has set his team the challenge in a bid to keep up their march at the top of the league when they face tough opponents.
"In the last couple of games against Thackley we have done all right, but they are always a hard team to beat on their own patch," he explained.
"I really want us to get something out of this game, but a win would be an extra bonus."
Stuart Lee, suffering with a torn hip muscle, is expected to be the only absentee from the squad.
