There are only three clubs in Sky Bet League Two more expensive to watch on a matchday than Oxford United, according to a survey on the BBC.

The Price of Football survey - which assumes that everybody buys their tickets on the day of the match and then buys a programme, eats a pie and drinks a cup of tea - sees United high up the table with a cost £28.10.

Only Northampton Town, Plymouth Argyle and Southend United are more expensive.

The club, however, only have control over their ticket and programme prices, with a catering company holding the lease to provide matchday refreshments and setting their own prices, which sees a pie (£3) and cup of tea (£2.10) among the highest in the division.

No advanced prices or restricted view tickets are taken into account, and on the flip side, United's cheapest season ticket is one of the best value.

Although nine clubs are cheaper overall, nearly all of these are for terraced tickets in non all-seater stadia.

Burton Albion are the cheapest day out in League Two, costing fans £21.80.
