RUGBY LEAGUE: Oxford beaten by Coventry Bears in Kingstone Press League 1 season opener
OXFORD Rugby League suffered a 32-10 defeat at Coventry Bears on the opening day of the Kingstone Press League 1 season yesterday.
A slow start saw Oxford go 20-0 down, before Josh Scott and Marcus Brooker crossed the whitewash.
However, the Bears went on to add two further scores.
Oxford face York City Knights at home next Sunday, April 12
