BB&0 PREMIER DIVISION

BICESTER can look forward to derbies with Alchester again next season after securing the second promotion spot.

They are guaranteed to finish runners-up after being handed a walkover by Farnham Royal, who were unable to field a side.

Although Hungerford can match Bicester’s tally of 75 points, they would still finish below them on games won.

Farnham Royal will be deducted five points and will therefore finish bottom, below Littlemore, who lost 53-17 after a battling effort at champions Tadley.

The league organisers have yet to announce whether one or two teams get relegated.

A depleted Gosford All Blacks lost 39-15 at Hungerford.

Ben Thornton and Stephen Edwards went over for Gosford, with Ben Bodinham converting the latter and adding a penalty.

The visitors also had Andy Schwarz and Chris Bennett yellow-carded.

Chipping Norton’s season ended on a low note with a 36-0 defeat at Phoenix.
