OXFORD RL bid to stop a dismal run of four straight defeats when they visit Gloucestershire All Golds tomorrow.
Tony Benson’s side have slipped down the Kingstone Press Championship One table after a poor run of form, but the coach is backing his players to come good and is not overly concerned about the defeats.
“I am not worried to be honest,” he said.
“We have been unlucky and have deserved something from those games. We are just lacking a little experience.”
Prop Dave Ellison should return after illness, while Jimmy Rowland and Callum Mulkeen will also be given late fitness tests.
Chris Clarke (rib) is out, along with Luke Evans who picked up a pectoral injury whilst playing for Oxford Cavaliers against Sheffield Hallem last weekend.
Oxford RL: Baird, Benson, Bentley, Blaney, Briggs, Brooker, Connick, Crabtree, Davies, Ellison , Hadden, Hayles, Hoggins, S.Morris, Mulkeen, Osborn, Rowland, Rice, Sharratt, Temata, Thompson, Newton, Winfield.
