BEN Bodinham scored a hat-trick of tries as champions Gosford All Blacks ended their season with a 61-11 win at Hungerford.

Bodinham dotted down and Will Watts converted, but a Dave Cree penalty and Matt Stevens try gave the hosts an 8-7 lead in the BB&O Premier fixture.

Gosford hit back with Bodinham strolling over and Watts adding the extras.

Cree’s penalty reduced the deficit, but Bodinham completed his hat-trick. Watts converted.

Dan Bullimore’s try made it 28-11 at the break, before Watts converted his own score and Rich Robbins touched down.

Watts added the extras.

A penalty try, as well as Harry Sutton and Andy Schwarz scores, Sutton converting two out of the three, rounded out the rout.

Alchester were heavily beaten 88-7 by Tadley.

Jack Briggs scored their only try.

John Hughes and Robert Tyreman both crossed twice as Abingdon beat Wheatley 45-39.

James Webb, Dale Cross and Jamie Cummings also went over.

Chris Stables kicked four conversions and a penalty.

In the championship, second-placed Didcot lost 32-17 to champions Phoenix.
