BICESTER ran in ten tries to preserve their 100 per cent record with a 66-0 victory at struggling Bletchley.

The north Oxfordshire outfit were 12-0 up inside the opening ten minutes of the Southern Counties North clash.

Tom Miles was first to cross, before Lemeki Valevou plunged over.

Dave Hampton then added two tries for the bonus point and there was still time for a fifth before the break as Matt Dye dived over.

Their dominance continued in the second half.

Ali Atashgah was next to cross and George Upton brought the try count to seven.

A powerful maul then led to Dye stretching across in the corner for his second of the match.

Bicester refused to let up the pressure and Dickie Walsh sidestepped his way through to score under the posts, before Dave Lawther grabbed the final try.

Miles converted eight of the ten as he scored 21 points.

Tim Ellis missed a late conversion to earn victory as Gosford All Blacks lost 14-13 at home to Aylesbury.

Despite putting pressure on their visitors, the home side trailed 14-0 after Nicky Mercer and Pete Gorley went over.

Dave Stowe converted both.

Gosford were rewarded for their efforts when Ellis kicked a penalty and Miles Johnston burst over to reduce the arrears to six points at the break.

Cory Neighbour was sin-binned for the visitors in the second half, but All Blacks could not make the extra man count.

They looked on course for a memorable win, though, when Jack Briggs dived over on 75 minutes to bring them to within one point.

However, Ellis’s conversion attempt came back off a post.

Wallingford earned a 23-17 victory at Milton Keynes.

Tom Hill’s score and a penalty try, as well as 13 points from the boot of Phil Dawes, steered the south Oxfordshire outfit to victory.
