BICESTER ran in six tries to beat High Wycombe 48-0 in Southern Counties North.

The league leaders raced into a 19-0 lead after half-an-hour, thanks to Dave Hampton’s converted try and four Tom Miles penalties.

Wycombe went close to getting off the mark either side of half-time, but Cameron Baker missed a penalty, before the home side defended resolutely on their own five-metre line.

Bicester’s dominance continued, when Francois Wiese went over for an unconverted try.

And they did not stop there as Peter Tarrega scorched over, before Jacob Grimes crossed twice and Steve Limbrick stretched across.

Miles converted three of the tries to finish with a tally of 18 points.

Gosford All Blacks beat fellow strugglers Bletchley 29-8.

Converted tries from Ben Bodinham and Harry Sutton, the latter from a 70-metre breakaway, put the visitors into a 14-0 lead.

Shaun Denton was sin-binned for the hosts and Gosford made the extra man count as Chris Bennett stormed over to make it 19-0.

Bletchley got off the mark, thanks to a Dean Williams penalty.

Gosford had Liam Beesley yellowcarded, but Tim Ellis’s brilliant solo try extended their lead to 24-3.

They were then down to 13 when Bodinham was sin-binned, before Bletchley’s Denton was sent off for punching.

Within minutes of returning to the pitch, Beesley was red-carded for a second technical offence, but they were still hungry for tries as Jack Briggs crossed.

Joe Subong went over late on for the hosts, but it was only a consolation try.

Wallingford earned a 24-18 win over Buckingham.
