KIERAN Goss misses his first game for more than a year as Chinnor look to continue their unbeaten record at home to Tonbridge Juddians tomorrow.

Director of rugby Matt Williams tinkers with his team for the National League 2 South clash, but is fully aware he will be unpopular with the full back.

“Kieran has been my most consistent performer for the past 18 months,” said Williams.

“He has not missed a game in that period so deserves a break – but I know he will not want one.”

Henry Lamont, Jamel Hamilton, Alex Gliksten, Nick Bingham and Alex Waddingham come in as second-placed Chinnor bid to continue their flying start.

“People thought we would not be physical enough to deal with Cinderford last week,” said Williams.

“But we were and have showed we can mix it up when we need to.

“It’s a case of taking it match by match and we are fully aware Tonbridge will be a potential banana skin for us.”

Henley Hawks make just two changes for their home clash with Barnstaple.

Connor Murphy replaces George Jackson at scrum half, while tight-head prop Dave Manning is unavailable, so George Primett is promoted from the bench.

However, there is an interesting new replacement in the form of John Wunder, who has played top grade rugby in Australia.

He started the first game of the season, but suffered a shoulder injury from which he has now recovered.
