THE Spencer brothers, Adam and Dan, scored two tries apiece in Bicester’s 46-7 demolition of Hungerford.
A minute’s silence was held before the match in memory of former Bicester lock Paul Crook, who died suddenly aged 73.
No 8 Dan Spencer ran in the opening try from 40 metres before Jak Cluness sent fellow centre Dave Hampton under the posts.
Wing Adam Spencer bagged try No 3, Dan Spencer converting.
After the break, prop Tom Horwood was driven over, with Dan Spencer converting and sped in from half way to add his second try.
Hungerford replied with a fly half Sam Anderson going over and full back David Cree converting.
Adam Spencer and replacement Dave Aslett bagged tries seven and eight, with flanker Jack Horwood completing the tally and Aslett converting. An injury-ravaged Gosford All Blacks drew 21-21 at Swindon College Old Boys.
Swindon flanker Tom Birnie grabbed the opening try after charging down Gosford scrum half Tim Sutton’s box-kick, Scott Buchanan converting.
Gosford skipper Tim Ellis replied with a penalty, but Buchanan converted Neil White’s try for 14-13.
The visitors rallied, with Ellis slotting a penalty and converting Sutton’s try, which was set up by Murray Stewart.
Harry Sutton fed Stewart for Gosford’s second try, giving them an 18-14 half-time lead.
Swindon had centre Matt Allen sin-binned, but hit back when No 8 James McCloughlan was awarded a disputed try, Buchanan converting.
Ellis levelled with his third penalty.
