BANBURY Under 11s will take part in a half-time parade of champions at tomorrow’s Aviva Premiership final at Twickenham.

The youngsters, pictured right, get to tread on the hallowed turf after winning the London Irish Under 11 Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup in March.

Banbury captain Alfie Barbeary said: “I am really looking forward to going to Twickenham and can’t wait to see the Aviva Premiership rugby final and be a part of the parade at half-time.”

  • THREE other Oxfordshire youngsters will also be at Twickenham tomorrow, receiving coaching before the Harlequins and Leicester game.

Scott Munro, Andrew Oakley and Samuel Myers won the prize after taking part in an ESPN community rugby coaching session at Icknield College in Watlington.

They will be put through their paces by Premiership coaches on the Twickenham pitch, get to meet ESPN’s rugby presenters, ex-England players Ben Kay and Austin Healey, and go behind the scenes at ESPN’s studios.
