BANBURY Bulls’ four-match winning streak ended with a 27-16 defeat at Kidderminster Carolians.
Bulls improved after trailing 22-9 at the break, but were finally sunk by Nick Martin’s interception try.
Banbury full back Andrew Joubert was yellow-carded for killing the ball after two minutes.
Kidderminster skipper Rob Delahay powered over for their opening try, but Bulls fly half Eddie Phillips replied with two drop goals.
Martin (2) and Delahay added further tries, Chris Pinner converting one, while Joubert kicked a penalty.
Joubert converted his own try after the break, Martin’s hat-trick try wrapped it up.
Banbury still have a nine-point cushion above the relegation zone.
