MATT Goode is hoping promotion-pushing Banbury can continue their superb winning run when they travel to Old Centralians tomorrow.

Bulls occupy South West 1 East’s sole play-off spot and have a game in hand over third-placed Chippenham, who they lead by two points.

Banbury recorded an 11th successive win when beating Salisbury last Saturday.

Having not played for three weeks due to postponements, head coach Goode admitted his side looked rusty in victory, but is urging his side to keep the hammer down in this rearranged fixture.

He said: “We didn’t play that well, but a win is a win.

“Playing ugly and getting a win is a great feeling.

“We’ve got another away game at Old Centralians, so let’s hope we can perform.”

Unavailability for both sides has forced Witney to move their home fixture against Marlow to this evening.

Tomorrow had previously been scheduled as a free weekend and clashes with the last round of the Six Nations.

Richie Craig comes in at hooker, flankers Rob Coe and Jake Edwards return, while Phil Thomas starts at full back.

Oxford Harlequins head to basement boys Bicester.

Tom Guthrie starts at hooker, with Chris Davies switching to prop.

Full back Charlie Craig returns, so Ed Yeates moves to the wing.

Chinnor bid to make the most of their game in hand over Redingensians when they host Barnstaple in National League 2 South.

The Thame-based side occupy the division’s only play-off spot and could extend their advantage, which stands at 14 points.

Henley Hawks take on Taunton Titans at Dry Leas.

But the rescheduled fixture has been moved to Sunday to avoid a clash with England’s game against Ireland.

Sam Portland starts on the wing, with Liam O’Neill moving to centre.

Meanwhile, Oxford bid to move within a victory of Twickenham when they host South Molton at North Hinksey Sports Park in the South West Division final of the Junior Vase.
