CHINNOR can virtually secured their play-off place in National League 2 South if they repel the strong challenge of visitors Redruth tomorrow.

A bonus-point victory over the Cornish side, and a win for Redingensians over Taunton, would put director of rugby Matt Williams’s side within touching distance of securing second spot, with four games still to play.

One of Chinnor’s best away performances this season came in Cornwall where they pulled off a 20-13 victory.

For the return encounter, they will be without skipper Danny Barnes who is ill, so Orisi Nawaqaliva will partner Alex Dancer in the centre.

Mike MacDonald retains his place on the wing, following his hat-trick of tries against Barnstaple last week, while Greg Goodfellow returns at scrum half.

“It’s just anbout maintaing the momentum and keeping up our standards as we head for next month’s play-off,” said Williams.

Henley field a new centre pairing of Connor Hayhow and Alan Awcock at home to Canterbury, as they target a top-six place.

Sam Portland takes over from Xavier Andre on the left wing with the in-form Jack Robinson continuing at full back.

Hawks make their customary changes in the front row, with Brad Cook and Tom Emery coming in.

Oxford Harlequins make four changes – one positional – for the trip to Grove in South West 1 East.

Callum Cashman returns to prop, Chris Davies moves to hooker, Joe Hazelhurst steps up to flanker and Jack Crowe returns to the wing.

Witney will be looking to reverse their fortunes when they entertain Old Centralians.

In their first meeting, the Gloucester-based side triumphed 18-12.

Following last week’s 14-10 victory over Marlow, Witney welcome back Rhys Morgan, while Arron Lambourne drops back into full back as Phil Thomas is unavailable.

Banbury will be trying to continue their play-off push at home to Swindon.
