WOODSTOCK are on course for their first OLTA Babolat Summer League Division 1 title after drawing 2-2 with second-placed Oxford Sports.
Ben Coomber and Dave Tuck starred for Oxford, battling back from a set down to beat Phil Waller and Chris Corfield, before also winning the second rubber.
Woodstock are three points ahead, with two matches remaining.
In the ladies competition, Cholsey missed out on opening up a five-point lead over Virgin Active in Division 1 as they lost 3-1 at North Oxford.
Virgin Active are two points behind with a match in hand.
The Division 2 promotion race is hotting up as two points separate the top three.
Oxford City, who drew with Goring, are level on points with Abingdon at the top.
Faringdon have given themselves a chance of promotion after beating Abingdon 3-1 to move to within a point with one game remaining.
OLIVER Veal, from Oxford Sports, won the Under 8 singles at the Grade 3 Yonex Open, with a 10-5 victory over Wiltshire’s Shay Corcoran at the White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre in Abingdon.
