However, despite seeing North Oxford take over by a point with a 7-1 win over Cholsey B, Virgin have a game in hand and are still favourites.

Barbara Griffiths and Suzanne Abell lost only three games in four sets for Virgin, but their side could only manage a 5-3 victory over Woodstock.

North Oxford beat Cholsey B 7-1.
