LOCAL clubs, coaches and volunteers were celebrated at the Oxfordshire Tennis Awards.
Alison Jackson was named outstanding volunteer of the year, with Steve Bell winning the volunteer prize.
Parks Tennis received the community award.
George Adzhikov scooped the coach of the year and Wantage Lawn Tennis Club picked up the club prize.
Nicky Maskens, chairman of Tennis Oxfordshire, said: “It is heartening to award those who put so much effort behind offering great tennis opportunities for all in Oxfordshire.”
The winners now go through to a regional judging panel and are in the running for a national prize at the AEGON British Tennis Awards in July, where they could receive a £5,000 facility grant.
