Despite previously saying she wants children, The Voice star Kylie Minogue has admitted it may never happen.
The 45-year-old singer who has released a new album, Kiss Me Once, which is her 12th studio album, revealed she is focusing on what she does have rather than what she does not.
In an interview with the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine, the pop star said: "I don't know how many more times I can say, if it happens, it happens. But I think maybe part of this frame of mind I'm in, trying to be calm and accepting and at peace with where I am, is really acknowledging that it just might not be written on the pages for me.
"You can't have everything, so I'd rather just focus on what I have instead of what I don't have."
Kylie, who is one of four judges on BBC's The Voice, split from her Spanish model boyfriend, Andres Velencoso, last year and changed her management team. Although she admitted to looking back on the previous year and reflecting on events, she said she had never been so focused.
Her new album is the first in four years and the singer said the first single, Into The Blue, reflected how she feels right now.
Kylie said: "I didn't write the lyrics but amazingly they just fit my life at the moment. I was still in a relationship when I recorded it, so it must be destiny because the song's coming to life more with my current frame of mind."
