A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a block of flats in Walsall
Detectives are questioning a man on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a block of flats.
A 69-year-old woman was found in a flat in Walsall, in the West Midlands, with fatal injuries during the early hours of Saturday.
The body of a man believed to be in his 30s was then discovered by officers on ground behind the apartments in Acacia Avenue on the Yew Tree Estate.
Police arrested a 43-year-old suspect at the scene and he remains in custody.
"We are not seeking anybody else at this stage in connection with the deaths," Detective Inspector Warren Hines said. "We believe all the parties involved were known to each other."
Police forensics teams were combing the scene for evidence.
