ARCHER Ruby Mary Ruby died suddenly in the JR Hospital on Wednesday 20th June, aged 87. She was a respected primary schoolteacher and headteacher in Barton and Blackbird Leys, retiring early when she lost her sight; a much loved sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Committal at Oxford Crematorium on Monday 23rd July, 3.30 pm with a service of thanksgiving and ashes strewing at St James Church, Beauchamp Lane, OX4 3LF on Thursday 26th July, 2.30pm followed by a memorial tea party.
