Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kingston Bagpuize & Southmoor, A420 (from A415 to A338) Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 May 2019 - Coming into force: 1 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of 'Routine Surface' works which are anticipated to take 7 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the section of A420 (from A415 rbt to 338 rbt). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is: A420 (Faringdon Road) -A338 (Oxford Road) - Abingdon Road -A420 and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref: T6421/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Compton Beauchamp, unnamed road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 May 2019 - Coming into force: 5 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of water mains replacement works which are anticipated to be completed on 5 August 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding throughout 24 hours in the whole length of the unnamed road running through Compton Beachamp.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4507 to Ashbury, B4000 to Shrivenham and Longcot Road and vice versa

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T6458/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

A4130 Didcot

50 mph reduction to 30 mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 10 June 2019 - Coming into force: 17 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway realignment work on the A4130 which is anticipated to be completed 17 December 2020.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles exceeding 30mph for a distance of 700 metres between Mendip Heights and Sir Frank Williams Avenue. The existing 50mph covered by the Oxfordshire County Council (Didcot Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2018 will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. T6486/RAG

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kingston Bagpuize Footpath Closure No. 268/7 Date of Order: 28 May 2019 - Coming into force: 1 June 2019 This Order is being introduced because of erection of 8 residential dwellings and associated infrastructure works which are anticipated to take 6 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No.268/7 (between Oxford Road and Abingdon Road). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There alternative route is via the two roads. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T6375)

(ASTON TIRROLD AND ASTON UPTHORPE PARISHES) ORDER 2019 (NORTH & SOUTH MORETON PARISHES) (RESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 28 May 2019 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The orders come into force on 3 June. The effect of order 1 is as follows:

1. introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout the joint village roads. The terminal points to the west and north will be in Hagbourne Road 320 metres west of its junction with Thorpe Street, and in Moreton Road 440 metres north of Fullers Road



2. introduce a 50mph speed limit on Chalk Hill southwards from a point 253 metres south of Aston Street (20mph terminal point) to the A417,



3. introduce a 50mph speed limit on Spring Lane southwards from a point 385 metres south of Fullers Road (20mph terminal point) to the A417, both of 2 & 3 above in place of the national 60mph,



4. The effect of order 2 for administrative purposes only, is to remove Moreton Road from the Moreton order and place it into the Aston Tirrold order to align with parish boundaries.



The existing Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Aston Tirrold Parish) Order 1999, (Restricted Roads) (Aston Upthorpe Parish) Order 1999, (Restricted Roads) (South Moreton Parish) Order 1999, and (Restricted Roads) (North Moreton Parish) Order 1999 will be revoked and consolidated. Documents giving full details are available for public inspection at County Hall, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, or at Didcot Town Council Information Centre, Civic Hall, Britwell Road, OX11 7JN, from 9am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to
