NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council, Rotherfield Greys Footpath No. 1 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2019 On 17th April 2019, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order, made on 28th February 2019, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 180m of Rotherfield Greys Fp 1 that runs from Shepherd's Green at OS Grid Reference SU 7139 8328 east-south-eastwards through the immediate curtilage of ''The Rosary'' and along a field boundary to SU 7155 8321 to a line running for 143m from Rotherfield Greys Fp 4 at OS Grid Reference SU 7145 8331, south-eastwards across open field to SU 7155 8321 to re-join the existing route of the footpath as shown on the Order map.

Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX11ND at the price of £3:50 per copy. The Order came into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (the Act), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA) or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA, within six weeks from 1st August 2019 make an application to the High Court.
