1.) (BENSON AND EWELME AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20** 2.) (BENSON AND EWELME) (PROHIBITION OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the orders, as a result of residential development of land adjacent to the road, is to:
(1) reduce on Littleworth Road the current 30mph speed limit to 20mph, and
(2) introduce a 7.5 tonne goods vehicle weight limit on Littleworth Road, between the junctions with Sunnyside and the B4009 *Oxford Road (*a new roundabout will also be constructed and other traffic calming measures introduced).
The Oxfordshire County Council (Benson - Ewelme Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Benson and Ewelme) (Prohibition of Heavy commercialVehicles) Order 1990 will be revoked/replaced.
3.) BENSON: PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Oxfordshire County Council also proposes to install zebra crossings - as a result of residential development of land adjacent to the road in order to facilitate the safe movement of pedestrians -centred at the following locations:
Littleworth Road - approximately 250 metres west of its junction with Watlington Road,
Oxford Road - approximately 20 metres north-west of the newly planned roundabout junction with Littleworth Road & Churchfield Lane, and on
Watlington Road - approximately 40 metres east of its junction with Littleworth Road.

The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice.They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
