Temporary Prohibition of Waiting
Date of Order: 26 February 2018
Coming into force: 5 March 2018
This Order is being introduced because of construction works to be carried out adjacent to Iffley Road which are anticipated to take 13 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle waiting in the following Sections of Road: Percy Street, both sides from its junction with Iffley Road for 38 metres; Charles Street, both sides from its junction with Iffley Road for 21.5 metres; Harold Hicks Place, southwest side from Percy Street for 20 metres. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref JaC/T5410) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford, James Wolfe Road Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Date of Order: 26 February 2018 Coming into force: 5 March 2018 This Order is being introduced because of construction works to be carried out adjacent to James Wolfe Road which are anticipated to take 16 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle waiting at any time on the north side of James Wolfe Road from its junction with Hollow Way for 68 metres; and on the south side for the same distance between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (VARIOUS ROADS – SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.**) ORDER 20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order will further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – South Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2008 with the effects of introducing new double yellow lines – “No Waiting at Any Time” in the following areas: • CHINNOR – Station Road – 4 separate lengths along the northeast side south of Duck Square – as far as No.41; Church Road – covering the junction with Church Lane around its south and east sides; • DIDCOT – Hawksworth – throughout its junction with and covering all sides of the junction with Collett, and into the first estate access road on the north side west of Collett; Also at the west end of Hawksworth throughout the junctions to the east of the access road to the A4130 (adjacent to Harrier Park). • HENLEY – Deanfield Road – southwest side, between its junctions with Greys Road and Paradise Road. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 16 March 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref. AK/12.6.316)
