Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Cowley, Percy Street and Charles Street Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Road Closures Date of Order: 26 February 2018 Coming into force: 5 March 2018 This Order is being introduced because of construction works to be carried out adjacent to Iffley Road which are anticipated to take 13 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle waiting in the following Sections of Road: Percy Street, both sides from its junction with Iffley Road for 38 metres; Charles Street, both sides from its junction with Iffley Road for 21.5 metres; Harold Hicks Place, southwest side from Percy Street for 20 metres. Also, there will be road junction closures at the Iffley Road end of Percy Street and Charles Street to enable large deliveries to take place predominantly during Mondays from 19 March to 17 December.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force. Local diversions will be signed. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: JaC/T5410)

Oxford, James Wolfe Road
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting
Date of Order: 26 February 2018
Coming into force: 5 March 2018 This Order is being introduced because of construction works to be carried out adjacent to James Wolfe Road which are anticipated to take 16 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle waiting at any time on the north side of James Wolfe Road from its junction with Hollow Way for 68 metres; and on the south side for the same distance between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Pembroke Street Suspension of One Way Order Date of Order: 12 March 2018 Coming into force: 18 March 2018 This Order is being introduced because of building works adjacent to the highway at the junction of St Ebbs Street with Pembroke Street which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend One-Way traffic in the whole length of Pembroke Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: JaC/T5439)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of order 1, as a result of the development of land adjacent to the B4009 Crowell Road at Chinnor, is to extend the 30mph speed limit south westwards by 25 metres, reducing the existing 50mph speed limit on this length of the road by the same amount. The effect of order 2, for administrative purposes only, is to clarify the listings in the schedule of roads in Chinnor, with no changes on the roads.
The existing Oxfordshire County Council (Aston Rowant and Lewknor Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011, and (Chinnor Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 will be revoked/replaced. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX1 1ND between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Chinnor Library, Station Road, Oxon, OX39 4PU, Monday & Wednesday 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm, Thursday 2pm to 7 pm, Friday 2pm to 5.30pm, and Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm.
Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 30 March 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref: CM/12.6.165)
