ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 19 March 2018 Oxfordshire
County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The orders,
which come into force on 26 March further amend the
following Oxfordshire County Council base orders: (Central
Area Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions)
Order 2011; and (The City of Oxford) (Central Area) (Traffic
Management) (Consolidation) Order 2003.
Following completion of the Westgate development and
associated highway works, these minor administrative
changes to the orders reflect and clarify the final post-build
descriptions affecting road names, marked areas of loading
and access prohibitions on the surrounding roads. There are
no physical changes to the signage or markings currently
displayed in the roads.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are
available for public inspection by visiting County Hall, New Road,
Oxford, OX1 1ND, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any
provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 19 March
2018 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(VARIOUS STREETS, OXFORD) (WAITING AND LOADING
RESTRICTIONS) CONSOLIDATION (VARIATION NO.**)
ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council
proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order
will further amend the following Oxfordshire County Council
(Various Streets, Oxford) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions)
Consolidation Order 2009.
This matter relates to the continuing ‘Access to Headington’
road works in respect of improving the through flow of traffic
and access to amenities and have not changed from the
scheme previously approved at the Cabinet Members Decision
meeting in June 2016. It is now planned to formalise the
making of the order.
The effect of the order is to amend waiting restrictions in
The Slade, to Prohibit Waiting at any Time (double yellow lines)
for its entire length on both sides, with exemptions for loading
and access to properties.

Objections to the proposals and other representations
specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent
in writing to the address below (or via the web address above)
by no later than 20 April 2018. The County Council will consider
objections and representations received in response to this
Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes

(HARWELL AND VARIOUS PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS)
ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 19 March 2018 Oxfordshire
County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order, which comes into force on 26 March
2018 is:
(a) to introduce a 50mph limit on the new Harwell Link Road
southwards from the B4493 Didcot Road to the A417
Reading Road; and
(b) to remove the existing 40mph limit on the B4493 Harwell
– Didcot Road (which passes over the A34) so as to
provide a continuous 30mph limit between the towns.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Harwell and Various Parishes)
(Speed Limits) Order 2016 is revoked/replaced.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are
available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road,
Oxford OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday;
and at Didcot Civic Hall, Britwell Road OX11 7JN from 9am to
4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3.45pm on Friday.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1) & (7)
Notice of Temporary 30mph Speed Limit
Littlemore, A4074
Date of Order: 26 March 2018
Coming into force: 9 April 2018
This Order is being introduced because of new junction
construction works which is anticipated to take 10 months
overall to complete. The effect of the Order is to limit vehicle
speed to 30 mph on the dual-carriageway southwards from
Heyford Hill roundabout to Sandford Road overbridge.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the
measures are in force.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, A4142 and A423
Eastern and Southern Bypass and A4074 Sandford-on-Thames)
(50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2011 shall be temporarily
suspended in so far as it affects the A4074.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months or until the works have been completed whichever
