A special seminar celebrating the opening of the opening of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) office for the UK and Ireland, takes place in Oxford on Monday <<April 18>> Nominet UK, the not-for-profit organisation responsible for the and secure running of the .uk Internet infrastructure based at the Oxford Science Park, will run the office.

The event will feature a presentation from Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the world wide web with other speakers including Ralph Rivera, director of future media at the BBC and Daniel Appelquist, senior technologist at the Vodafone Group.
