BUS services in Bicester are to be boosted by a new half-hourly link between the town centre and Launton Road after a review of routes in north Oxfordshire.
The No 24 service will start running at the start of June, when new contracts subsidised by Oxfordshire County Council take effect.
The town’s No 22 and 23 services will see timetables modified to allow travel to and from Bicester Community College.
Another new service, the 504, will connect Hornton and Horley to Banbury on Thursdays and the 488 between Chipping Norton and Banbury will have extra early morning and early evening journeys between Milcombe and Banbury.
Other changes include route 25 journeys which currently run from Enslow to Woodstock being diverted to Kidlington instead.
Full details and timetables will be available next month, once contracts have been signed.
