WITH the merest hint of warmer weather we see the start of the flood alleviation scheme connected to Hinksey Stream.
This has been a vile winter and the flooding that hit the city in November caused misery.
The scheme should be finished by October, just in time to hopefully prove those floods that struck the southern and western parts of the city are a thing of the past.
