I WAS pleased to read in the Oxford Mail that Oxford United’s fans are to remain loyal on buying season tickets, but isn’t it about time that the club did something for them?
Once again the team is languishing in the lower regions of League Two.
As one of the best-attended clubs in their division, the team’s home record is not the most inspiring. Surely, the supporters deserve something better?
I only hope that the new season will see things turn around, otherwise attendances will inevitably suffer.
Let them take a lesson from the likes of neighbouring clubs such as Reading, Swindon and MKD and aspire to higher things.
It now looks as though even Wycombe may finish above us.
