A charity ball at Drayton Golf Club on Saturday raised £5,350 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.
The event was organised by Laura Gibbons in memory of her father Jim, who died last April at the age of 56, after a nine-month battle with liver, lung and bowel cancer.
She said: “It was a great success – the night was packed out with friends and family.”
