IN RESPONSE to Cllr Roy Darke’s letter (ViewPoints, April 12), I am not on the East Oxford Planning Committee and thus have no voting power on that body, unlike Cllr Darke and Cllr Clarkson.
However, I do have an opinion on controversial planning issues such as Barton West, St Clement’s car park, Tesco and the current application for a 24-hour taxi office on the corner of Edgeway Road opposite Marston Court care home.
Not only do I voice my concerns, I actively petition and ensure that the Marston people are aware of what is happening on their doorsteps and will continue to do so.
