JUST before Easter I discovered a pricing practice at a leading supermarket which I had complained about at Christmas 2012.

Traditional meat appears to be offered at below half-price on large display signs.

The signs have the offer in large letters, but hard to see, in the bottom corner, in tiny letters, are the words ‘per kilo’.

These are nearly impossible to see for the elderly or visually impaired.

The supermarket quickly reimbursed me the difference in price I had to pay. But again, this Easter, the same type of offer signs were evident.

I have reported my findings to Trading Standards, and hopefully this will not happen for other customers.
