BANKSY will be one of more than 150 artists from around the world to display their work in Oxford at the city’s second international art fair.

Following last year’s sell-out event, the best artists will be returning to the Town Hall from February 6 to 8 next year.

The street artist’s Di Faced Tenner, facsimile £10 notes bearing the face of the late Princess Diana, rather than the Queen, and headed Banksy of England will be on show. The venue will be transformed to house a variety of artworks such as paintings, sculptures, photography and printmaking.

Organiser Joelle Dinnage said: “We were overwhelmed with the response from our first ever art fair in Oxford in February 2014, both in the quality of the art and also the interest from visitors who loved the stunning prints, sculptures and images that surrounded them.

Our top stories

“Visitors can take their time to wander around and see what’s on show, chat to the artists, relax over a coffee or glass of wine and then select the piece that catches their eye.”

A private viewing is available for £10 on Friday, February 6, while entry is free on the Saturday and Sunday. Book at oxfordinternationalartfair.com
