A FATHER'S desperate bid to swim the English Channel has been delayed yet again and may not take place until Monday.
Gardener Piers Lewis, 46, has been training for two years but the challenge, originally scheduled for the weekend of July 23, was halted after traffic chaos in Kent and then delayed again at the beginning of August due to bad weather.
The father from Cassington said yesterday the weather "looked good" for this weekend and hopes to carry out the 22-mile swim on either Sunday or Monday.
