IT’S enough to give you the chills.
Glass artist Vital Peeters is exhibiting some of his coolest creations at the University of Oxford Museum of Natural History this month, including this piece entitled Snow Crystal.
The Oxford sculptor, who has worked with glass for the past 25 years, says his main techniques are ‘fusing, painting, sandblasting, etching and bonding’.
He is exhibiting at the museum with a group of local artists for the Arctic Artweeks Exhibition in the Upper East Gallery upstairs, overlooking the main hall.
The show includes Arctic-inspired glasswork, paintings, photography, textiles and ceramics from a range of Oxfordshire Artweeks artists.
The exhibition, which opened on November 11, runs until January 31 and all works are for sale.
