Oxford Mail:

It is believed nobody was hurt.

It comes as part of a busy day for firefighters in the south of the county with crews also fighting a bedroom fire in Duffield Close, Abingdon, shortly before 5am.

Oxford Mail:

Three firefighting crews were called out as the fire took hold of the ground floor of a semi-detached house.

The family who were home at the time were praised for closing the door of the room on fire and preventing it spreading further.

The cause for this fire is being investigated but it is believed to have been caused by an electrical device overheating.

Oxford Mail:

Further south of the county crews were also tackling a major field fire which engulfed an area the size of 25 football pitches.

The blaze, off the A4155 near Shiplake, had about 60 firefighters on scene after 'a combine harvester exploded' it is believed.
