A MAN has been charged with grievous bodily harm after another man was hit with a metal weapon.
Thames Valley Police charged Ashley Maparura, 28, of Queensway, Didcot, with one count of GBH on Wednesday.
It is in connection with an incident in Drayton Road, Abingdon where the man was assaulted at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
Maparura was arrested on the same day.
He appeared in Oxford Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on August 31.
