THIEVES have stolen 54 litres of red diesel from a farm near Bicester.
Thames Valley Police in Bicester tweeted about the burglary which happened at a farm in Palmer Avenue, near Arncott.
The force said thieves stole a ifor William trailer, red Honda quad bike, and 54 litres of red diesel.
Police tweeted an appeal yesterday for information about the burglary which happened on Monday, August 24, shortly before 4.30am.
It comes as figures revealed earlier this month that rural crime costs the county more than half a million pounds last year, according to the insurance branch of the National Farmers Union.
The total cost at £628,000 represents a rise of 7.7 per cent on 2016, according to NFU Mutual's annual Rural Crime Report.
