A GANG forced their way into an Oxford jewellers in a midnight raid before escaping over the roof with £100,000 worth of jewellery.

How did they do it?

Five burglars smashed their way into Pandora in Cornmarket Street at about 12am this morning.

They used crowbars to smash glass cabinets and emptied the contents into green waste bags.

The gang made their escape by climbing up the fire escape and walking across the roof, before climbing down and fleeing.

How much was taken?

It is estimated that around £100,000 of jewellery has been stolen.

Pandora sells rings, necklaces, charms and bracelets and many of its items are on the lower end of the price range for jewellery.

Rings from Pandora sell for anything from £30 to about £300.

Charms can cost as much as £600.

What do they look like?

The first man is white and was wearing a black hooded top, jeans, brown work boots, white gloves and a white face mask. He was carrying a navy blue rucksack with red detailing.

The second is a white man and was wearing a grey hooded top, black trousers, a North Face Gillet, grey trainers, black gloves and a black balaclava.

The third is a white man and was wearing a blue zip up jacket, navy trousers, dark shoes, grey gloves and a black balaclava. He was carrying a large green waste bag.

The fourth gang member is a white man of stocky build. He was wearing a zip up jacket, a blue top with grey sleeves, dark blue trousers, black trainers, black gloves and a black balaclava.

The fifth is a white man and was wearing a black and grey striped hooded top, a red beanie hat, black trousers, grey trainers with white laces, black gloves and a black balaclava.
